Parametric Concepts explores music as parametric properties of sound, instrument and performer. Parametric distinction and interactivity defines the compositional structure and enables expressions beyond traditional musical conceptual definitions.

Concepts = ideas/compositions/expressions structured around specific parameters related to the inherent properties of instrument, sound, and/or performer. Instead of relying on the conventional constructs of melody, rhythm, or timbre, the musical content acts as a direct response to situational variables (even if the result may sound similar at times).
